I spent the Austral Summer of 2006-2007 working in Antarctica as a janitor. The picture above is taken down there. I have more or less finsihed writing a book about it and am now looking for a publisher. If by some random miracle you are a publisher/agent reading this and you are interested, please email me at: travelbribirk@yahoo.com
PLANNING A TRIP?????????
I have worked for Trek America for 8 years. Trek America has been around for 35 years and has around 100 tours that cover North America and a little bit of Central America. We also have sister companies that cover South America, Australia and New Zealand. It is a great way to travel and quite economical if you are on your own. Mostly we do camping tours, but we also have some lodging tours as well. The main age brackett is 18-38 but we have open age tours, family tours and a group department. Our groups are generally comprised of 5-6 different nationalities and our max group size is 13 passengers.
I have also now been with Kumuka for one year leading tours in Europe. However, we have many different types of tours all over the world.
My name is Brian and I am from California. I have been traveling pretty regularly in the last 12 years since I graduated from University. To date I have visited 7 continents (Antarctica was not the final one) 53 countries (although some of them may not count) and all 50 US States (guess which one was the last). In those eleven years I have been writing and photographing, and it's time to share those
